Pricing

Nobody gets a
different number.

You will never be quoted based on what I think you can afford. The price is written down, it is the same for the shop next door, and it does not move once I know what street you're on.

And you see your site before you pay for it. Send me a link, get a working draft in 48 hours, and decide then.

  • Free draft in 48 hours
  • Free hosting, forever
  • Fixed price in writing, never hourly

In a hurry

Website in a Day · $2,990

I block out a day for you. We start in the morning, you answer the phone twice, and it is live on your own domain that night. Everything in Standard, finished in one day instead of ten.

You already have one

Rebuild an old site · $1,490

Your site works but it was built in 2014 and it falls apart on a phone. Same content, rebuilt properly, live in two days. If yours is worth keeping I will tell you that instead.

If you would rather not pay up front

No build fee. $299 a month.

The Standard site, the hosting and the upkeep, in one monthly number. Twelve months, then month to month.

Some businesses would rather have a small bill every month than a large one in March. Either way you get the same site.

$299/month · nothing due to start

  • Everything in the Standard package
  • Hosting, security and backups
  • Unlimited small changes, sent by email
  • Traffic report emailed monthly
  • Twelve month minimum, then cancel any month
  • The site and the domain stay yours either way

Hosting

Hosting is free.
On every site I build.
Forever.

Not free for the first year. Not free until it renews. Free.

You are not going to get an invoice in eleven months, and there is no renewal date to forget. If you never spend another dollar with me your site stays up and stays online.

You still own your own domain name, in your name, and you renew that yourself for about $15 a year. That is on purpose. It means your website is never something I am holding.

Upkeep

Never chase anyone to change your hours again.

You email me the change in your own words and I make it that day. No dashboard to learn, no login to lose. Optional, and you can stop any month.

How upkeep works
Care

$95/month

Or $950 for the year, which is two months free.

  • Unlimited small changes, sent by email
  • Same‑day turnaround on weekdays
  • Backups, security updates, uptime watched
  • Traffic report emailed every month
  • A phone number that a person answers
Growth Busiest businesses

$250/month

Or $2,500 for the year, which is two months free.

  • Everything in Care
  • New pages and new writing through the year
  • Your Google listing posted to monthly
  • Written for search, kept current
  • Seasonal updates done before you ask
  • Your work goes to the front of the line

Not interested in a monthly bill?

That is a real answer and it costs you nothing. Hosting stays free either way. When you need something changed, it is $95 an hour with a one hour minimum, and you only pay when you actually ask for something. Text me the change.

When it needs logic behind it

Accounts, bookings and payments.

These add on to any package. A website is pages. This is software, and it costs more because it has to be looked after once it is running.

See how I build
Form answers saved, with an inbox to read them+$700
Booking against your real availability+$1,500
Customer logins and accounts+$2,000
Taking payments, up to 25 items+$2,000
An admin panel so you run it yourself+$2,500
A customer portal or a dashboard+$4,000

Anything with a database is maintained. That is part of it.

A page cannot break in a way that hurts you. Something holding your customers' information can. So anything on this list carries $99 a month on top of your upkeep, for as long as it is running. That is not an upsell, it is how it stays safe.

Southbridge

10% off, and your first three months of upkeep are on me.

If your business has a Southbridge address, take 10% off any package on this page and the first three months of upkeep are free. It applies to everybody, it is not a negotiation, and you do not have to ask for it twice.

How billing works

Six things, so none of it is a surprise.

Half to start, half on go-live.

And you have already seen the draft before either one. Nothing on this website takes a payment. You get an invoice.

Fixed price, agreed in writing.

Never hourly, never a surprise. If the job changes you get the new number before I start, not on the invoice.

Changes are included, then they are $95 an hour.

One round on Starter, two on Standard, three on Complete. After that it is billed by the hour or covered by your upkeep.

I need your words and photos within 14 days.

Otherwise the job goes back in the queue and picks up at whatever the price is then. This is the only reason a site is ever late.

The domain is in your name.

Not mine, not the studio's. You own it, I manage it, and you can take it anywhere at any time without asking me.

Free hosting means as long as I am operating.

If that ever changes you get 30 days notice and every file that makes up your site, so you can hand it to anyone.

Start with the draft.

Every number on this page is easier to think about once you are looking at your actual site. Send a link, get one back in 48 hours, and decide then.
